You can have us organize your summary by topic, by state, by type of
publication, or any other way that meets your needs.
Executive Summary: CompetitivEdge will provide a 1-3
page narrative summarizing the contents of your clippings.
Media Analysis: CompetitivEdge will provide a
summary of number of stories, column inches, advertising equivalent
and circulation reach for your clippings.
Circulations: CompetitivEdge will append the
circulation of each publication to the end of each individual
article in your clipping package.
Citation Listing: CompetitivEdge will provide a
listing of appearances. Citations generally include the name of the
publication, date, page and section reference, length of article,
headline and byline information.
Multiple Delivery Formats: CompetitivEdge will
provide your clippings in more than one format. For example, you may
wish to have results e-mailed, with hardcopy to follow in the mail.
Or you may need hardcopy with a disk backup. Or you may prefer one
set fully formatted with a second set delivered as a text file for
markup to html.
Other Products and Services
Event Coverage: CompetitivEdge will track specific
press releases or events for a specific period of time. For example,
CompetitivEdge can cover an annual meeting, a new product launch, a
crisis, a major announcement, or a publicity event. This service can
be ordered prospectively or retrospectively.
Article Retrieval: CompetitivEdge will locate and
provide a specific article for $25.
Benchmarking: CompetitivEdge will design and perform
a benchmarking analysis to compare your news coverage to that of one
or more competing organizations. Benchmark studies can be done on a
one-time, periodic or ongoing basis.
Brag Books: CompetitivEdge will assemble a
loose-leaf brag book of positive press to commemorate a significant
event or to provide a historical reference document for a firm or
organization.
Executive Search Assist: CompetitivEdge will provide
biographical profiles and past press coverage for final candidates
for key appointments for the purpose of verifying candidate
accomplishments, to gauge the candidates' ability to handle the
media, and as a final check for 'skeletons'.
Historical Research: CompetitivEdge performs
retroactive research for periods which have ranged from 2 days to 25
years.
MediaCheck: CompetitivEdge will provide a citation
listing of press coverage for a given period. MediaCheck enables an
organization to gauge the effectiveness of its public relations
department or outside media consultants, to obtain an affordable
summary of publicity, or to establish a tracking program when a full
clipping program is not desirable.
On The Air: CompetitivEdge can expand your coverage
to include summaries of appearances on local television stations.
Through our affiliation with over 50 independent providers,
CompetitivEdge can track a single market ($75/month), two markets
($125/month) or all 50+ markets ($175/month). Summaries are
delivered twice per month, and you can order selected video as
needed for $99 each.
Platinum Prospects: CompetitivEdge searches the full
set of Marquis Who's Who Directories to provide full biographies of
key individuals. This product is very popular among colleges and
universities, who use Platinum Prospect to identify high-achieving
alumni during capital campaigns.
